When using actionnetwork.com to view odds and make picks, the 'Best Lines' tab is a helpful way to shop for the best line and get the best price available to you. Shopping for the best line allows bettors to build their bankroll over the long run by laying less juice, getting better plus-money payouts and getting better lines on spreads and totals.
When you open up the tab, you'll see logos or two-letter abbreviations to show which books have the best line for the wager you're looking for. If you're unsure of what book is being referenced, you can hover your mouse over the logo/letters to see the full book name.
You can customize which books are being shown by adjusting them in your settings. Click on your profile photo or initials in the top right corner of the page and click 'Settings'.
From there, click 'Manage Books'. You'll be able to see the full selection of books to choose from. This will sync with your app, which has a similar 'Best Odds' feature.
Once you're done, you can go back to the odds page and see the updated books. You can also adjust what you're seeing by clicking on the 'Filter Odds' button on the right side of the page.
Here, you can search for a game, change your region, switch from full game odds to first quarter, first half etc. and adjust your books.
Once you're done, you can start shopping for lines. Using the three games in the example picture below, here's how you would use the 'Best Lines' feature.
