Resetting your password on the App

If you are using the mobile app and wish to reset your password, it will be required to do so via the login screen. If you are already logged in, please log out by navigating to Settings > Logout.

Once you reach the login screen, please select the Forgot Password link located under the login menu.

After you select the Forgot Password link, it will prompt you to enter your Action Network account email address. Enter your email address and hit Submit, this will send reset password instructions to your email address.

Since the reset password instructions email is an automated message, it’s possible this message will be sent to your spam/junk folder by default so please make sure to check these folders within your inbox.

After you locate this email message, select the Please click here to reset your password hyperlink and you’ll be taken to a new page where you’ll be able to update your password. Once the new password is entered, select Reset Password to confirm the update.

Please note, the reset password link is only valid for one hour from the time of the request and once this time passes, you will no longer be able to use this link and will have to request a new reset password link.

Resetting your password on the Web

If you’re on the Action Network web platform (actionnetwork.com) and would like to reset your password, there are multiple ways to do so:

Step 1 - Hover over and click on your avatar at the top right of the homepage—this will initiate the drop-down menu.

Step 2 - Select the Settings option on the drop-down menu.

Step 3 - After you select Settings, you should see the account settings with a full list of options. Please select the Edit Profile tab.

Step 4 - Within the Edit Profile page, you will see the Reset Password menu on the right side of the page. From here, it will request for you to submit your old password, then enter and confirm a new password. Once this is completed, please select Update Password to officially update your new password.

If you do not remember your old password, it will be required to logout and request reset password instructions via the Action Network login page.

After you select the Forgot your Password? option shown above, it will direct you to the forgot password menu where you will have to submit your Action Network account’s email address and click on the Reset Password to receive reset password instructions via email.

Below is an example of the reset password instructions email message:
